Correspondent Alexandra Field reports the Taliban has claimed responsibility for an attack on a university in Northwest Pakistan. As many as 20 students are reported dead in what’s being called a terrorist attack on a university in northwest Pakistan. An official told CNN that about the same number have been injured. He warned the death toll is expected to rise.  A statement released by the office of Pakistan’s prime minister reads in part: “While condemning the cowardly attack of the terrorists, the Prime Minister said that those killing innocent students and citizens have no faith and religion.” Taliban leader, Khalifa Umar Mansoor, claimed responsibility in a phone call to The Associated Press from an undisclosed location. Mansoor was the mastermind mind of the December 2014 attack on an army-run school in Peshawar that killed more than 150 people, 144 of them children.
