Governor Rick Snyder will be invited to testify before congress about the water crisis in Flint. The hearing by a congressional committee will be held February 3. Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence had requested the hearing to look into how the local government handled the response to the contamination. President Obama signed an emergency designation for Genesee County and Flint and the Federal Emergency Management Agency is supplying water and filters to residents.
