The testing of lead levels in flint residents will be taken over by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA is stepping in after calling the local and state response to the water situation inadequate. The State Health Director, Nick Lyons, acknowledges a test sampling of Flint residents showed 2% of the residents sampled had elevated levels of lead in their blood.
