Former MSU basketball star Jay Vincent is scheduled for prison release

Former Michigan State basketball star Jay Vincent is scheduled Thursday for his first taste of freedom in five years. Vincent was the sidekick of Magic Johnson at Michigan State, then played nine years in the NBA after leaving Michigan State. He now 56-years-old and has been serving a prison term for his part in a home inspection fraud case. He’s expected to be released from a minimum-security camp in Kentucky then transferred to a halfway house in Battle Creek until his full release on July 2nd.
