State officials say the filters they’ve been handing out to Flint residents may be useless. The admission was reported on Friday after it was discovered that lead levels in some homes are still too high for a filter to handle. 3900 homes were tested. The results show that lead levels are ten times higher than levels deemed safe by the EPA.
