State officials are seeking public comment on two proposals that will be issued to contractors interested in performing risk analysis on pipelines in the Straits of Mackinac. The state says the draft documents are due by the end of the week. The Pipeline Safety Advisory Board has reviewed previous proposal drafts. The Enbridge pipelines carry up to 23-million gallons of oil daily beneath the Straits of Mackinac.
