More than a million dollars was raised Mitch Albom’s S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon on WJR in December. Thursday, checks from all the generous donations were distributed to organizations across Metro Detroit who do incredible things for the community. Organizations like Humble Design, COTS/Bright Beginnings, College for Creative Studies/Dream Scholars, Veterans Matter and more received funds. Mitch Albom, who founded S.A.Y. Detroit in 2006 presented the checks at the Fisher Building ceremony with Dr. Chad Audi, President of Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries.
