Local Rosie the Riveters to be honored in D.C. – Marie Osborne aboard “Rosies Honor Flight”

Rosie the Riveter will be in the spotlight Tuesday as 50 local women, all who played a vital role in the World War II war effort as ‘Rosie the Riveters,’ will be honored in Washington, D.C. The Talons Out Honor Flight is being sponsored by the Ford Motor Company Fund and the Yankee Air Museum. WJR’s Marie Osborne is with the “Rosies”
