Detroit Metropolitan Airport tweeted out that the “north end of the terminal is open” and “operations are slowly getting back to normal.” It had been evacuated earlier. Wayne County Airport Authority spokesman, Brian Lassaline said airport police responded to a suspicious situation. An earlier tweet said The North Terminal was “evacuated out of an abundance of caution.”
