Pedestrian struck and killed by train near Dexter

Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a train near Dexter overnight.

Michigan State Police Sgt. Mark Thompson said authorities were called to the train tracks near North Dancer and Beach roads in Lima Township at 11:30 p.m. Monday.

The incident is under investigation and more information should be available later in the day, Thompson said. MORE
