On Thursday it was announced that the 87 year old Red Wings great will have the planned second bridge between Detroit and Windsor named for him. Howe was near death after two strokes last year, when he was brought to the stem cell clinic for treatments and had a marked improvement.  His son talked to the Frank Beckmann show about his health and upcoming treatment.
