Governor-Snyder_Presser

Emails examined by The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press indicate that two of Governor Snyder’s top aides wanted a switch back to Detroit’s water. They urged to make the switch back in October 2014, weeks before the Governor’s re-election. This happened after General Motors first reported to the aides that water from the Flint River was rusting engine parts.

All of this occurred a year before Gov. Snyder said he learned about the full crisis. These new emails appear to be the earliest reference to the Flint’s water crisis. The governor has begun releasing some 6000-8000 emails related to the crisis.

All  of the emails will be available Friday HERE
