FEATURED PERSONALITIES:

CHRIS RENWICK
HOST

Chris Renwick knows how to get Michiganders talking. The five-time Michigan Association of Broadcasters award winner combines his love for the news, his passion for the conversation, and his unapologetic stance on asking the tough questions, to create a show that knows the rules and then breaks them.

Chris began his career at 760 WJR as an anchor and reporter in the 760 WJR newsroom before transitioning to become executive producer for the late great Frank Beckmann, and his award-winning program, “The Frank Beckmann Show.”

Since Frank’s passing, Chris has taken what he’s learned to become a WJR Senior News Analyst, a pro sports play-by-play commentator, and now host of his own program, “JR Afternoon with Chris Renwick.”

When not behind a mic, Chris loves to spend time with his wife Stephanie and his sons Jake and Henry. You can also probably catch Chris trying to escape a bunker on one of Michigan’s beautiful golf courses!
